Char Dham Yatra 2025 Tour Itinerary with Route Map
Day 1: – The Yatra starts from Haridwar in the morning. First you can have a holy dip at Ganga River and then start your journey for the 1st day of Char Dham Yatra. You can have breakfast on the way. The route for today is Haridwar – Dehradun – Mussoorie – Kempty Falls – Yamuna Bridge – Naugaon – Barkot – Kharadi.

It’s about 200 Kms from Haridwar to Barkot Kharadi and takes about 6-7 Hrs. to reach but can take more time because of Rush hours and yes you will stay for lunch or natures call on the way, so make it 8-9 Hrs. journey. On arrival at Kharadi, where you will stop for overnight. You will check in into the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay.
Day 2: – On the 2nd Day of Char Dham Yatra Tour, wake up early in the morning around 4-5 Am and have bath at hotel and then leave for the yatra of 1st Dham, Yamunotri Ji. It’s about 45 Kms to reach Jankichatti, from where the trekking to Yamunotri Dham will start. The time taken to reach by car till Jankichatti is about 2-3 Hrs, so once you are at Jankichatti, start your trek of 5-6 Kms to reach Yamunotri Dham.

If you are not able to walk on the hills you can take pony, palki and doli there at charges and reach at temple. Trek time is 2-3 Hrs. one side, and the route is good wide enough for many peoples.
once you reach at the temple, visit the temple, Darshan at abode of Maa Yamunotri Ji and take blessings. After that visit the Tapt Kund known as Surya Kund, where you can make prasadam yourself by dipping a package of Rice and Dal into the Tapt Kund. After some time, the rice and dal would be cooked, and you can have it as prasadam of Maa Yamunotri Dham.

After this, you can spend some time near temple and then return trek to Jankichatti, you will reach at evening at the Jankichatti and then take cab to return to Kharadi for the stop overnight. Dinner and Night Stay
Day 3: – On the 3rd day of your Char Dham trip, this day you can sleep tight till 10 Am, no worries because yesterday you have trekked on hill, so give yourself some rest, and after waking up, have a delicious breakfast. After all, start your journey towards Uttarkashi or Netala. On the way you can visit Shiv Gufa, which is located just some meters from main road, so you can walk there and spend some time and pray at the Shiv Gufa.

After that again start your journey, after 2-3 Hrs you will reach at Uttarkashi, where you can visit Kashi Viswanath Temple and Darshan. After that visit local market for some time and then start towards your hotel for the overnight stay. Mostly hotels are available in Netala town near Uttarkashi. You can overnight stay for there and have dinner.
Day 4: – On the 4th Day of Char Dham Yatra trip 2025, wake up early in the morning for the yatra of 2nd Dham, Maa Gangotri Dham, dedicated to Goddess Ganga Ji. Start your journey early around 4-5 Am to Gangotri Dham, and it’s about 88 Kms which takes 3-4 Hrs to reach, on the way you can stop at Gangnani for Tapt Kund Bath and then again start your journey.

On arrival at temple, Darshan at temple and take blessing of Maa Ganga Ji. After that spend some time at temple and then have a meal in nearby Dhaba or Restaurant. Then return journey towards Netala for overnight stay, but on the way visit Harshil Valley, which is known for a great hill station and apple orchards.
After all the sightseeing’s you can return to Netala for Overnight Stay. Dinner at Hotel.
Day 5: – On the 5th Day of this Holy journey, wake up at the morning around 8-9 AM, have breakfast at hotel and then starts your journey towards the 3rd Dham, Shri Kedarnath Dham. Today you will reach at Guptkashi/Phata/Sersi or nearby place. It’s a long journey today, so be prepared for that. You will reach at evening in the above said locations.

The time taken to reach Guptkashi from Uttarkashi is 7-8 Hrs minimum.
Today’s route is Uttarkashi – Tehri – Srinagar – Rudraprayag – Agastyamuni – Kund – Guptkashi.
Once you are there, check in into the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay.
Day 6: – Today on the day 6th of the Char Dham Yatra 2025 Tour, wake up early in the morning for today’s trip of Kedarnath Dham. There are two ways to visit Kedarnath Dham, one is via Helicopter, and another is by trekking of 20Kms. So, let assume you are going via Trek or Pony, Palki.
Early morning cab will drop you at Sonprayag from Guptkashi, which takes about 45 min-1 Hrs. where you will walk a Kilometer to reach near the Taxi Stand, where you will get taxi for Gaurikund which is about 5 Kms from Sonprayag.

once you reached at Gaurikund, your registration will be checked and then you will start trek towards Kedarnath Dham. The trek distance is 20 Kms and takes about 6-8 Hrs. to reach.
In between you can have some snacks or light meals near Rambara or Lincholi. Finally on arrival at Kedarnath Dham, directly Darshan at temple and then check in into the Hotel. Visit local Surroundings and then Dinner and Overnight Stay.
Day 7: – Early Morning wake up and then take part in the morning prayer at the Kedarnath Temple and Darshan, after that visit nearby attractions like Shankaracharya Statue and nearby places. You can also visit Bhukunda Bhairav Ji Temple which is about 800 mts. from Kedarnath Temple.

Spend some time there and after breakfast, start your return trek journey. It about 6 Hrs. to reach Gaurikund on the return journey.
So, once you are at Gaurikund, take local taxi to reach Sonprayag and then take tour cab to return to Hotel in Guptkashi. Evening visit Kashi Viswanath Temple in Guptkashi. Dinner and Overnight Stay.
Day 8: – Now three Dham Yatra is complete, so today you will proceed towards fourth Dham which is Badrinath Dham. Wake up at around 9 Am and then have breakfast and leave for Badrinath Dham. On the way visit Chopta Valley and you can also trek to Tungnath, Chandrashila.

It’s about 195 Kms from Guptkashi to Badrinath and takes 5-6 Hrs. to reach. But if you are visiting Tungnath Temple, then today you will stay in between the route.
Evening you will reach at Pipalkoti, stay there for overnight and have dinner at hotel.
Day 9: – On the 9th Day of Char Dham Yatra 2025 Tour, wake up at morning and then proceed towards Badrinath Dham. It’s about 75 Kms to reach, on the way you will see Joshimath town. It takes about 2-3 Hrs. to reach Badrinath from Pipalkoti.

Once you reach at Badrinath Ji, take holy bath at Tapt Kund and then Darshan at Badrinath Ji Temple.
After that you can perform Puja and Abhishek Puja at temple.
Then have breakfast in Badrinath local market, and then visit Mana Village, the 1st village of India from Tibet Border.
After all visit and sightseeing, stay there for a night. Dinner and overnight stay in Badrinath Dham.
Day 10: – On the last day of your Char Dham Yatra trip, you can visit Badrinath Ji temple at morning and visit local market. Then after breakfast, start your return journey towards Haridwar. On the way visit Vishnu Prayag, Narsingh Temple in Joshimath.

And then visit Nandprayag, Karanprayag, Rudraprayag and Devprayag and Dhari Devi Temple.
Finally at evening you will arrive at Haridwar.
The total journey takes 11-12 hrs. for today and the distance from Badrinath to Haridwar is 320 Kms.
