Itinerary of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Tour
Day 1: – Arrive at Kathgodam or Pantnagar Airport from your hometown and once you reach take cab to reach Pithoragarh, which is about 180 Kms by drive and takes about 6-7 Hours to reach. Its hilly route so you can be prepared for that. After driving through some amazing towns, you will arrive at Pithoragarh Town which is one of the largest hill towns in Uttarakhand. On arrival check in into your hotel and evening visit the local market and have some local delicious food.
Day 2: – After morning breakfast, enjoy the early sunrise in the city and then start your day journey towards Dharchula. It is about 91 Kms from Pithoragarh and takes about 4 Hours to reach. Once you arrive at Dharchula you can opt for the permit for Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Tour, because its mandatory for everyone who are visiting these places.
The Permit required Aadhar Card, Photo, Covid Certificate, Medical Certificate and Police Verification. You can check with some agency there and they will make your permit with some charges, or you can apply through online. Once your permit is generated, now you have the permission to go further, the Nabi village is about 50 Kms from Dharchula, if you have already generated your permit via online, so you don’t have to stay in the Dharchula for one day, and you can directly leave fo Nabi Village. Else you have to halt here for one day for documentation.
So, let’s assume you have already generated your permit, so at evening you will reach at Nabi Village where you can stay in the Home Stays and have local food there.
You will not get the enough mobile network there but wifi is available at some cost, so you can use it for your online calls.
Here you will find chilling cold during night, but good arrangements are made in home stays, so you don’t have to worry about. For Hot water you there are Water heater available for common, where you can get hot water bucket for use.

Day 3: – Wake up early in the morning and then have good breakfast and leave for Adi Kailash Mountain trip. It’s about 36 Kms from Nabi Village, after 18 Kms you will reach at Kuti Village, where you permit documents will be checked for further trip. After that finally driving through some waterfalls, hill route you will arrive at the location Jolingkong, from where you can have the mesmerizing view of Kailash Mountain the place of Lord Shiva. You can have Darshan and then you can trek to Parvati Kund, which is about 3 Kms from the place.
After that return trek to the parking place, take cab and return to Nabi Village. Check in into your Home Stay and then have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: – Today wake up early morning have breakfast and start towards Om Parvat, on the way you will see the Gunji Village, the route to Om Parvat is mainly off road, so be prepared for that, it’s about 2 Hours journey where you will see the Darshan of Om Parvat. It’s actually the traditional Kailash Man Sarovar Yatra route. So, you can stay there for a while and have Darshan of Mighty Om Parvat. After that return back to Gunji Village, have some light food and return journey towards Pithoragarh. Evening you will arrive at Pithoragarh. Dinner and Overnight Stay
Day 5: – After morning breakfast start your return journey towards Kathgodam Railway Station. Finally tour ends with amazing memories of the Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Tour.
