About Kempty Falls

If you are visiting Mussoorie and want to explore its sightseeing, then Kempty Fall is one name you should remember, while visiting Mussoorie Hill Station. It is located about 15 Kms from Mussoorie Town, and one can start at morning from Mussoorie then 30-45 Min drive to reach here and then enjoy the waterfall. It is a natural waterfall comes from above village Banglow ki Kandi. 

 

The Waterfall is known as Kempty which comes from Camp-Tea, and it was developed for Tourist destination by a British Officer John Mekinan during 1835. The Water can be seen running throughout the year, and visitors or tourists can visit it.

 

There is ropeway down to reach the falls from Road above, and also a small trek to reach down. You can enjoy bathing in the falls and its allowed, but keep in mind to keep clean the water and don't throw any chips packet or something into it.
