1–14 September is 5% below the Sept–Oct rate. Vehicle rates go up to May–June levels on the Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra long weekends (1–3 and 8–10 October 2027).
Char Dham Yatra cost from Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Delhi
The yatra starts and ends in Haridwar. From Rishikesh the price is the same. From Dehradun airport add ₹500 for the pickup. From Delhi, a separate cab takes you to Haridwar and back, so the price rises by ₹8,000–11,000 for a small group.

7 ways to lower your Char Dham Yatra cost
- Travel with 4–6 people. A couple pays about ₹35,500 each; six people sharing an Ertiga pay about ₹22,000 each.
- Go in September or October instead of May–June, and avoid the two October long weekends.
- Choose the right vehicle. An Ertiga or Innova for 6–7 people costs much less than two small cars.
- Share rooms. Triple and four-bed rooms cost less per person than doubles.
- Start from Haridwar or Rishikesh. Coming by train saves the Delhi cab cost.
- Pick Standard hotels. On this route they are clean and simple; the difference to Deluxe is about ₹7,000–10,500 per person.
- Do Do Dham (Kedarnath + Badrinath) in 6 days if you are short on time or budget: about ₹13,500 per person for 4 people.
