How to Reach Vasudhara Falls

To reach Vasudhara falls you can take a bus or taxicab from Haridwar or Rishikesh to Reach Badrinath Dham. Once you reach Badrinath Dham you can pay visit at the temple and have Darshan and take blessing of Lord Badri Vishal Ji. After that early morning start your journey towards the Vasudhara Falls.

From Badrinath Dham there are shared taxi and local taxi available to reach Mana Village (the First village of India from Tibet Border side). Once you reach Mana Village, start your trekking journey towards this waterfall. It is about 5-6 Kms to reach and the route is good and about 8 feet wide, made with stones, so you don’t need to worry anything.

After 2-3 Hours of Trekking, you will reach at the Vasudhara Falls, where you can see this amazing waterfall and also glacier nearby. You can take a holy dip in the Waterfall and then visit surroundings, take some photographs of yours and your companions.

You will also see the amazing peaks of Chaukhamba, Nar and Narayan Peaks, Nanda Devi Peak and more. You will see snowcapped mountains, and this will give you chills. The famous Satopanth Trek which is about 22 Kms from Badrinath Dham is also in the same way.

After reaching at the Vasudhara falls and enjoying the weather you can return to Mana Village with best memories of your life and return back to Haridwar, from where you can take a conveyance to reach your home.

Best time to Visit Vasudhara Falls

Vasudhara Falls is far from Badrinath Dham, and the weather is very cold in Winter season, also the temple of Badrinath is closed, so it’s not accessible in winter season. During summer season, from starting of the Badrinath temple opening you can start your plan to trek there.

The Best time to visit Vasudhara Falls is May to June and then Sept to Oct Months. During monsoon it is not advisable to visit hills because of heavy rain falls and sometime landslides.
